Investment advice helps you put your money to work in a way that's deliberate, diversified and aligned with your goals, rather than guessing, following the crowd, or leaving savings sitting idle. It starts with understanding what you're investing for and over what timeframe, then builds a strategy around that.
Our approach is advice-led and evidence-based. We focus on the things that genuinely drive long-term outcomes: a clear plan, appropriate diversification, sensible costs, and behaviour that doesn't derail your strategy when markets get bumpy.
We don't just hand you a plan and wave goodbye. Once we've agreed a strategy, we help you put it in place and look after it over time, arranging your investments, keeping an eye on how they're tracking against your goals, and adjusting as your life changes.

Growing your wealth over time takes more than picking an investment, it takes a structure that fits your goals, tax situation and timeframe. We help you build and manage a plan that holds together as your circumstances change.
Whether retirement is decades away or just around the corner, we help you work out what you'll need, how your current savings and investments stack up, and what to adjust to get there with confidence.
From managed funds and ETFs to direct shares, bonds and term deposits, we help you understand how the pieces fit together and recommend a mix suited to your risk comfort and goals. Every recommendation is yours to approve.
If investing in line with your values matters to you, we can help you find ESG-screened and responsible investment options within your plan, without giving up on a properly diversified, evidence-based strategy.
Lasting wealth is built deliberately. We help you put a clear structure around your money, then stay disciplined through the ups and downs, because behaviour, not market timing, is what usually decides long-term results.
We start with your life and goals, a first home, your children's future, financial independence, or a legacy, and design the investment strategy to serve them, rather than the other way around.
The vehicle matters as much as the investment. We help you consider how to hold your wealth, personally, jointly, or through a trust or entity, for the right balance of control, protection and efficiency.
We favour broad diversification across asset classes and regions, sensible costs, and a long-term, evidence-based approach over chasing the latest trend.
Your strategy is matched to your timeframe and how you actually feel about market movements, so you can stay invested when it matters most.
We help you tune out the noise, keep contributing, and let compounding do the heavy lifting over years and decades.
Life changes, and so should your plan. We meet regularly to keep your strategy aligned with your goals and circumstances.
We help you choose a sensible mix of investments and put it in place, then look after it for you. Your portfolio is built from the pieces that suit your goals, timeframe and risk profile.
Diversified funds that spread your money across many companies, sectors and countries in a single, low-effort holding.
Low-cost, broadly diversified funds that track markets here and overseas, a core building block for many portfolios.
Where it suits your situation, advice on holdings in individual New Zealand and overseas companies.
Government and corporate bonds and other income assets that can add stability and a steadier return to your mix.
On-call cash and term deposits with credit-rated New Zealand banks, useful for short-term goals and your safety buffer.
We make sure your KiwiSaver and wider investments are working together as one coherent plan.
How your investments are held. We do not hold client money or investments in our own name. Investment products are typically administered through NZX Wealth Technologies (NZXWT), an independent investment administration and custodial platform, held in your name, with online access so you can view your portfolio at any time. Where a managed portfolio solution is more appropriate for your circumstances, we may arrange this through GoCIO Limited, a licensed provider of discretionary investment management services. The specific custodial and platform arrangements that apply to you will be confirmed in your personalised advice, and are also set out in our Public Disclosure statement.
For many people, the real question isn't just "how do I invest?", it's "will I be okay in retirement?" We help you connect the dots between your KiwiSaver, your other investments and your goals, so you can see what you're on track for and what might need to change.
That means thinking about how much you'll need, how long it needs to last, how to draw on it sensibly, and how to keep your money working for you even after you stop working.

How we're paid. For investment advice, we generally charge a one-off investment planning fee of $250 to $4,500+ (plus GST), depending on complexity, or an hourly rate of $250 to $400 (plus GST). Where we continue to manage your investments, an ongoing adviser fee of 0.25% to 1.5% (plus GST) per year of your portfolio value applies. A separate platform or administration fee may also be charged by the provider that holds your investments, and underlying managed fund or ETF costs (typically 0.35% to 1.5% p.a.) are paid to the fund manager, not to NZOne. We don't receive commission from investment providers, and we agree all fees with you in writing before any work begins, so there are no surprises. Full details are set out in our Public Disclosure statement.
Important. All investing involves risk, and the value of investments can fall as well as rise. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results, and no return is guaranteed. Any advice will take into account your personal circumstances and goals.

There's no single right number, what matters more is having a clear goal and a sensible plan. We'll talk through your situation and what makes sense for you.
All investing carries risk, but risk can be managed through diversification, an appropriate timeframe and a strategy matched to your comfort level. The bigger risk for many people is having no plan at all.
KiwiSaver is one important investment vehicle, but your wider goals may call for additional investing alongside it. We look at both together so they work as one plan.
We agree a review rhythm that suits you, typically at least annually, and whenever your circumstances change significantly.
No, and you should be cautious of anyone who does. We focus on a sound, evidence-based strategy and disciplined behaviour, which are the things you can actually control.
Both. We give you advice on a strategy that fits your goals, then help you put it in place and keep it on track, arranging your investments, monitoring how they're tracking, and adjusting over time. You stay in control: we talk things through with you before any changes are made.
Your investments aren't held by NZOne. They're typically administered through NZX Wealth Technologies (NZXWT), an independent investment administration and custodial platform, held in your name with online access so you can see your portfolio at any time. This separation is an important protection for you.
